The Pavilion Garden Mahjong Mat

Somewhere beyond the garden gate, there's a pavilion where the afternoon lingers — latticed walls casting rose-pink shadows, a single flowering vase set just so, and a table waiting for four. The Pavilion Garden brings that unhurried hour home: hand-drawn lotus blossoms in blush and indigo rise from a blue-and-white vase at the heart of a scalloped Mughal arch, framed in trellis-work and petit-point borders that make the whole table feel like a room of its own. Rich at the edges and serene where the tiles fall, it plays as beautifully as it gathers — every hand dealt in a place worth staying. For the hostess who believes the table should be somewhere her friends arrive, not just something they sit around.
